Lara Lake Community Pre-School Incorporated is an independent community based, not-for-profit organisation offering Pre-School services for 3 to 6 year olds.

We were incorporated in January 1994 after having been part of the local Lara Community for many years prior.

We are operated by a volunteer Committee of Management and our dedicated Staff.

A little bit of history...

□ The Pre-School moved to it's current location in 2005.

□ During 2011 our Pre-School was fortunate to receive a government infrastructure grant funding (through the City of Greater Geelong, who own the building) to complete an extension to our Pre-School.

This construction has provided us with additional facilities including an extra kindergarten room, community access room, improved staff administration and kitchen facilities.  Our new facilities opened in February 2012, with an official opening held in March 2012.

□ With demand for our kinder programs growing, during 2015 the community access room was converted into a kinder room.  From 2016 pre-school programs are operated in one of three kinder rooms.

Our Aim

Our Values

Respectful – Being respectful is about honesty and transparency. We believe in working together cohesively, where we are able to express ourselves in a respectful way and be considerate of everyone’s views.

Belonging - We are one Pre-School and united in our approach.  We want our leaders and staff to feel part of one team and support and welcome each other in unity.

Wellbeing - Is the experience of health, happiness and prosperity. We believe in achieving good mental and physical health and providing a good sense of meaning or purpose with all that we do.

Community – We are passionate about our community and are committed to delivering exceptional education to our children. Through collaboration between staff and families we work as ‘one’ united team, motivating one another in our community both in the preschool and on outings.

 Our Code of Ethics

Protection and wellbeing of children is paramount, therefore we have adopted Early Childhood Australia's Code of Ethics.
