Committee of Management

Lara Lake Community Pre-School Inc. is operated by a volunteer Committee of Management.  This is formed by parents from within the kinder community and run in a friendly, team orientated manner.  The Committee meet monthly with the teachers to discuss the needs of the kinder and plan for the future.

Parents are welcome and encouraged to join the Committee of Management at the Annual General Meeting held in November each year for the year ahead.  If you would like detailed information about the Committee structure and roles please don't hesitate to contact us.

Committee members are volunteers with all sorts of backgrounds, skills and commitments.  Some are at home Mums and Dads, some work full time, some work part time.  There is a role to accommodate anyone.

Meetings are held monthly from February each year.

Grievance Sub-Committee

This sub-committee consists of committee members who will handle any problems, issues, grievances and suggestions quickly and confidentially.  Please don't hesitate to write us a letter or note outlining your concerns and post it into the Pre-School mail box.  Or you can access a Grievance Notification form here. All matters will be handled confidentially, and you will be notified within 3 days of submitting the letter that it has been received and is being dealt with.

We would like all Parents/Guardians to have a say in their child’s education, and feel that by offering this service to everyone who attends, the Pre-School can be enhanced with your opinion, be it good or bad.
